Accreditation
The number of accreditations to be granted to each media organization is limited as follows:
- Written Press (Newspaper, Magazine, Internet and Agency): 2 professionals per organization
- Photographer: 1 professional per organization
- Radio: 2 professionals per organization
- Broadcaster: 3 professionals per organization
Accreditation requests will be analysed and media representatives that have had their media accreditation approved will receive a confirmation email and more information about the procedure to collect their badge.
The deadline for submission of applications is 30 April 2016.
Media accreditations can be collected by the media entrance on the North Gate of the Olympic Stadium.
Visa

Transport
A shuttle service will be provided for media representatives booked at the official media hotel to the Olympic Stadium, and vice-versa.
The detailed schedule of this service will be available in the official media hotel and in the Venue Media Centre at the Olympic Stadium.
Parking
A limited number of parking places for accredited media representatives will be available close to the Olympic Stadium. If you require parking, please contact our team (see contact details below).
Venue Media Centre
The Venue Media Centre (VMC) will be open according to the following timetable:
- 13/05/2016: from 9h00 to 18h00 (training)
- 14/05/2016: from 8h00 to 23h30 (competition);
- 15/05/2016: from 8h00 to 22h30 (competition);
- 16/05/2016, from 8h00 to 19h30 (competition).
The Venue Media Centre will offer working positions equipped with internet (wifi and/or cabled) and power outlets. Other services are also available including a help desk, lockers and a coffee corner.
Press Tribune
The Press Tribune will be located on the first floor of the venue and offers working positions with a view to the field of play.
Mixed Zone
There will be a mixed zone allowing media representatives to interview the athletes as they leave the field of play.
Press Conference Room
The press conference room is located next to the Venue Media Centre. Press conferences with the medalists of each event will take place whenever required.
Photo Positions
Photo positions will be available around the first row of seats in the seating bowl and in platforms placed in the moat that is located around the track.

Note to Broadcasters
During the Caixa Ibero-American Championships in Athletics, Anatel will perform spectrum management operations as planned for Rio 2016 Games.
Actions include access control of all RF equipment, testing and tagging and support in case of interferences.
All radio frequency emitting equipment, including wireless microphones, must be presented for testing and labeling, accompanied by the respective authorization of use.
